Description:This position is an open role for the Missiles and Fire Control Accounting organization at Lockheed Martin (LM). The Accounting organization is responsible for various functions including cash management, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, direct and indirect cost posting, revenue, labor systems and policy, audit support, domestic and foreign tax support, and accounting system sustainment.
We are seeking individuals to partner with our existing teams, such as: Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Labor, and Tax Accounting to support existing scope in support of process modernization and system testing efforts as we work to implement new enterprise initiative for record to report processes.
*Must be available for January 2025 start date
The tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• Journal entry processing
• Account reconciliations
• Analysis of data
• Summarizing financial transactions
• Use of multiple financial applications
• Managing supporting documentation
• Other accounting and related tasks as assigned
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s level degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Desired Skills:• Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems
• Experience with data analytics
• Relevant work experience or internship

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
