Overview
The Payments Product Analyst position reports into the Latin America North (LAN) Payments organization and is responsible for supporting new product development and growth of the our existing portfolio in the Region.
The person in this position will support the development and implementation of new product initiatives and collaborate within the Payments organization to make the product roadmap a reality.
Responsibilities
As a Fiserv LAN Product Analyst you will co-ordinate, plan and perform business analysis tasks for our Payments solutions.
You will acquire profound expertise in our renowned payment processing solutions and other peripheral functionality.
You will prepare sales materials for showcasing our products to prospective clients and, occasionally, cooperate with the commercial teams playing a consultative sales role. Also, you will be helping our existing clients to identify new ways of taking advantage of our solutions creating business opportunities for them and our Company.
The Payments Product Analyst will serve as a liaison between our clients and the IT department. You will also be expected to act as a Product Owner for internal projects to take our applications forward and build new functionalities by putting together sound business requirements.
For our existing client’s initiatives, you will be the quality gate that ensures our IT team gets thorough and understandable requirements. Functional solutions will be run through you. You will be able to recommend alternatives and your concurrence will be necessary to move the requirements to the development phase. Quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferable in the financial services and/or software development industries.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in product management/product development.
- Software lifecycle knowledge. Experience on product implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Payments instruments such as Credit, Debit and Prepaid cards as well as lending products in the Latin America region. Familiarity with operational processes supporting those products, common market practices and regulatory requirements will be highly appreciated.
- Ability to travel 10-20%.
- Bilingual: fluent in English & Spanish.
