Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
Shift: Thurs-Mon (10pm-6:30am)
The Lead Shuttle Driver trains, coaches and dispatches other shuttle drivers.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• This role may require a CDL Class B with a specific class and endorsement requirement.
Preferred Qualifications: • 1 year of prior shuttle driving experience
Responsibilities: • Directs traffic, position barricades, and arrange for towing service when necessary.
• Correctly uses all personal protective equipment at all times
• Protects the safety of self, co-workers, and passengers at all times
• Promptly reports any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor and/or appropriate department(s)
• Transports, loads and unloads passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
• Ensures the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs (i.e• wheelchair lifts and tie-downs)
• Helps passengers to load and unload luggage as needed
• Inspects vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues; performs routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities - Meets patrons needing assistance to and from various airport locations and lots. - Inspects shuttle for preexisting damage record information using electronic device or manual ticket
• Provides excellent customer service to guests; respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner, give directions to nearest highway, destination, etc.
• Reports safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor and appropriate department(s), following documented procedures
• Follows all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in department-specific procedures or manuals
• Maintains and enforces bus evacuation plan and coordinates bus evacuation activities as appropriate
• Immediately reports any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
• Refuels and maintains shuttle equipment and maintains assigned fuel use logs
• Always maintains a clean work environment, disinfecting shuttle after each use
• Performs pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards
