Overview
Scope of Position
As an HR Intern at Haskell you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources, including compensation analysis, job descriptions, policy development, and general HR activities. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of HR functions within a dynamic work environment.
Job Responsibilities
Carries out various human resources tactical functions and procedures to assist HR Operations team.
Updates HR company sharepoint page to ensure it best supports team members needs.
Assist with quarterly reporting and compiling information and/or reports for special projects.
Assists with preparation of mandatory reporting submissions, including EEO-1 filings, AAP and other compliance reports.
Manges and updates required employment posters enterprise-wide.
At the direction of the HR Ops Specalists, creates status change memos for team members (promotions, transfers, assignments etc..).
Assist Compensation team by supporting the analysis of compensation data to ensure competitiveness in the market.
Collaborate with managers to create, update, and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions.
Maintain up to date and accurate HR resources including policies, procedures and job descirptions.
Participate in the development, review, and update of HR policies and procedures.
Conduct audits to ensure adherence to legal and organizational requirements, including I9 audits.
Help in preparing reports on compensation trends and recommendations.
Maintain job architecture and create resources to assist in it’s development.
Perform other duties and assigned projects as needed.
Education/Experience:
Purseing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.
Proficient in Microsoft office skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to maintain confidential information
Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Be detail oriented and recognize errors in numbers and spelling in written materials.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
