What does a successful Vice President, Industry Marketing do at Fiserv?
We are looking for an experienced Vice President Partner, Industry Marketing to lead customer marketing initiatives across all sales channels within our Merchant Solutions business. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, support sales efforts, and enhance brand recognition.
What you will do:
- Create and implement a comprehensive industry marketing strategy that aligns with Fiserv’s overall goals and enhances our presence in the restaurant, service, and retail sectors.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the targeted industries, utilizing insights to shape marketing strategies.
- Oversee the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns tailored to the unique needs of each industry, focusing on driving customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and effectiveness in go-to-market strategies across all channels.
- Position Fiserv as a thought leader in the merchant solutions space by developing industry-specific content, engagement programs, and events that showcase our expertise and innovative solutions.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of industry marketing initiatives, analyzing data to optimize strategies and report on outcomes to executive leadership.
- Build and lead a high-performing industry marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Regularly communicate with executive leadership and key stakeholders on industry marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12+ years of experience in a marketing function
- B2B & B2C experience
- 7+ years’ experience managing a high performing team
- Experience with the restaurant, services or retail industry marketing strategies, specifically in digital marketing, content marketing, and traditional marketing methods.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary
