Operations Security & Intel Specialist
Are you ready to take your career to the next level with KBR? We are seeking a dedicated Contractor Operations Security and Intel Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this critical role, you will support our Intelligence, Operations, and Security units by conducting in-depth analysis and ensuring adherence to Security Plans for Test (SPT). In this position, you will be responsible for tailoring all-source intelligence products to provide comprehensive assessments for both current and future detachments. You will act as a vital liaison for our customers, collaborating with multiple agencies to enable successful operations for testing and development. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to train and mentor military personnel, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet operational security measures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tailoring all-source intelligence products to provide assessments for current and future detachments.
- Providing support as a liaison for the customer to multiple agencies prior, during, and post detachments, enabling customer operations for test and development.
- Training and mentoring military personnel regarding customer requirements and operational security measures.
- Maintaining currency in appropriate Intelligence Community disciplines and systems.
- Assisting with the daily operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- Assisting with periodic Operations Security assessments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: BS/BA from an accredited US school & 7(+) years of experience. Additional experience is accepted in lieu of a formal degree.
Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Must have an active Top Secret (including SSBI) Security Clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, Background:
- Experience serving as Operations Security Manager for classified DoD Programs.
- Experience with the relationship of ELINT (OPELINT/TECHELINT), COMINT, SIGINT, VISINT, IMINT, and SAR/ISAR products as it relates to developing a Coherent Operational Picture (COP) in support of operations.
- Experience performing Trusted Agent functions for SCI network.
- Experience assisting with the daily operations of a designated Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- Experience with platform and system threats related to U.S. Military adversarial Order of Battle.
- Experience providing intelligence support for military detachments and remote sites.
- Experience conducting OPSEC reviews of documents using security classification guides.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Operational experience with DoD active-duty customers.
- Experience with the Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- The applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the past six (6) years (or currently enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program) is required.
- This position is dependent upon government funding.
- This is a full time on site position.
- Travel may be required up to 25%.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $110,000-125,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
