The primary role of the Cabin Safety Specialist is to ensure the professional standards of the aviation department for inflight emergencies and cabin service. The Cabin Safety Specialist must manage up to twelve, senior level and executive level passengers on each flight. This role is required to ensure the cabin is always operating safely and have inflight authority over the highest executives in our company. In emergency situations, the Cabin Safety Specialist must diagnose the health and wellbeing of passengers as well as the aircraft cabin environment. This role is the single point securing the aircraft cabin and directing evacuation of the cabin while the flight crew lands the aircraft. Each flight the Cabin Safety Specialist briefs the passengers on safety equipment and must ensure all passengers stow their equipment. The Cabin Safety Specialist lead executive level management in the safety of flight aspects of each flight. This role is responsible for communicating any inflight emergencies to the passengers. The Cabin Safety Specialist is required to participate in the Safety Management System and help develop the best practices in an extremely dynamic environment. The Cabin Safety Specialist must comply with all mandatory FAA rules and regulations and is required to have continuing education along with recurrent training. The Cabin Safety Specialist will also serve as a scheduler and back up the Flight Operations Manager.
What you will do
- Ensures the safety and well-being of Lowe’s executive level management team Responsible to diagnose health of passengers and treat medical emergencies.
- Determines safest evacuation method and leads aircraft evacuations while the pilots fly the airplane.
- Situationally aware of the potential inflight emergencies, and responsible to extinguish fires in flight
- Acts as a Cabin Safety Attendant (CSA) and a resident expert on matters related to all aspects of cabin safety
- Ensures food safety for all passengers to include profile database for allergies and diets Requires a resourceful individual able to adapt as the situations dictate with consideration for weather and business needs.
- Ensures initial and recurrent training requirements are met
- Makes recommendations to correct/prevent cabin safety issues
- Utilizes good Crew Resource Management Skills
- Reconciles all Purchase Card (P-Card) catering invoices for the aircraft
- Orders and helps to maintain the stock on all aircraft
- Acts as the Scheduling back up to Flight Operations Manager
- Assumes any duties delegated by the In-Flight Manager

Required Qualifications:
- High School or GED
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience as a Cabin Safety Attendant with an Airline, Business Aviation Department or government agency (highly desirable) Possesses knowledge of culinary arts, food, wine, and menu planning to accommodate first class service to passengers -
- 5-7 years experienced in leading and training a team of professional Cabin Safety Attendants
