Description:You will be the Manufacturing Expediter Specialist for our dynamic production team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing floor, from expediting materials to dispatching finished products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Expediter Specialist, you will play a critical role in expediting, routing, and dispatching material and parts to meet production schedules and commitments. You will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve potential shortages and issues, ensuring that our products are delivered on time and to the highest quality. Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing master production schedules to determine possible and actual shortages and alerting proper authorities of potential problems
• Keeping records of completed orders and making Apriso entries for material/parts
• Taking action to expedite materials, such as ordering damaged material replacement and scheduling in-house material transportation
• Assisting with work order issues and preparing DOT paperwork as required
• Loading and unloading shipments at the facility
• Operating a forklift to move materials around the facility

Basic Qualifications:
• Experienced Forklift Driver
• Inventory Control Experience
• Kitting/Dispatch/Floor Support in Production
• Computer Skills
• One Year of SAP or MRP related experience
• One Year of PP&C Experience in Manufacturing Environment
• Apriso Experience
• Must have the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Expediting Experience in Production Facility
• Minimum One Year SAP Experience
• One Year Apriso Experience
• Forklift Certified

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
