JOB SUMMARY
This role will support Charter Communications’ Strategic Procurement team in driving the company toward best in class Supplier Diversity performance. As an integral part of our Supplier Diversity Team, this position will support the management or the Tier II Program, executive reporting, strategic spend analysis, and the development and implementation of supplier diversity programs and initiatives. The role requires a collaborative spirit, an understanding of Strategic Sourcing processes and Supplier Diversity best practices, and the ability to lead and build influence with key suppliers and stakeholders in support of program goals.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Assist in developing and executing annual and multi-year program plans to help Charter meet Supplier.
Diversity goals and continuously improve program operations.
Manage the Tier II Reporting Program and support strategies to increase the annual impact which includes a focus on Tier II spend improvement, analysis, prime supplier onboarding, and general reporting management.
Work with Strategic Sourcing Teams to leverage identified business unit opportunities to utilize diverse suppliers. Includes understanding supply requirements, and identifying/engaging qualified diverse suppliers for consideration in sourcing events.
Manage supplier development programs and tracks supplier capacity and capability growth.
Support efforts to build relationships with various local and regional diversity council organizations.
Attend and represent Charter at various local and national diversity conferences and meetings.
Coordinate event schedules and the participation of other Charter employees and Business Units (e.g., matchmaking events to identify qualified candidates).
Promote Charter in the Supplier Diversity community.
Support and assist in conducting and leading Supplier Diversity-related training sessions to internal and external stakeholders.
Perform other duties as requested that support the success of Charter’s Supplier Diversity Program.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or related experience 3+
Supplier Diversity or Diversity & Inclusion program experience 0-3
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between
$60,900.00 and $97,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
