The Financial Sponsors Group is seeking a Vice President with prior Infrastructure Fund investment banking coverage experience to join their team in our New York City office. Previous experience in the Digital Infrastructure, Energy Infrastructure or Project Finance would be helpful. The team partners with both industry and product groups to deliver high quality advice and solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of corporate and investment banking products (including M&A, capital markets, LBOs, etc.), a strong work ethic, ability to research and generate unique content for clients, and creative, team-oriented approach to solving problems.
The Vice President will have the opportunity to work with private equity clients as they evaluate and execute new equity and debt investments, monetize existing investments, and contemplate capital structure solutions at both the portfolio company and fund level. This work will allow the candidate to cover a wide range of complex transactions including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, recapitalizations, strategic advisory assignments, and executions of public and private capital markets transactions.
In this role, you will:Interface with clients to resolve complex financial and strategic issues, conduct heavy LBO modeling, manage and execute live deal situations, facilitate due diligence, draft client and committee presentation materials, assist with new business development, and execute and oversee financial and valuation analysis. You will also play an important role on a team that includes senior professionals who will encourage you to go beyond the numbers and think creatively.

Base salary: $250,000This role is bonus eligible.
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 5+ years of relevant work experience in capital markets, private equity/credit, or a combination of both
- Experience and knowledge of the Infrastructure Fund coverage space, Digital or Energy Infrastructure coverage space or Project Finance
- Experience with leveraged buyouts
- Experience working with financial sponsor clients
- Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
- Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Job ExpectationsObtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
