Overview
The Utility Technician plays a critical role in supporting facility maintenance through effective administration, technical documentation, and resource organization. This role emphasizes computer-based coordination, data management, and proactive inventory control to maintain a well-documented and safe property environment. The Utility Technician should be able to communicate bid details and timelines to leadership through great communication and organization. The Utility Technician is also responsible to assist with performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

- No experience required and on the job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: - One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: - Oversee maintenance schedules and routine inspections, using software to log activities and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, work orders, and safety checks, using data analysis to track preventative maintenance and compliance.
- Efficiently manage stock levels and procurement of parts and supplies, utilizing digital tools to keep resources well-organized and aligned with budget goals.
- Coordinate major repairs and installations with vendors, monitoring performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness to ensure quality service.
- Use computer-based inspections to monitor regulatory compliance, maintaining digital records of safety protocols and facility standards.
- Perform light repairs such as filter replacements, fixture adjustments, and general upkeep, supporting the facility’s safety and functionality.
- Document and track emergency responses and incidents via computer systems to ensure detailed reporting and efficient resolution.
- Keep tools and equipment organized and accessible, supporting efficient maintenance operations
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures
- Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
- Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary
- Assist in client, site or customer emergencies as needed
