Collins Aerospace is hiring for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to work at our Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) division, located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a 1st shift position Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
This position is located onsite at our Jacksonville Blount Island facility.

What You Will Do - Primary Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a diligent Maintenance Coordinator to manage the upkeep and repair operations in our facilities.
The Maintenance Coordinator’s responsibilities include scheduling regular maintenance, managing repair activities, and ensuring the optimal working condition of our premises.
Candidates should demonstrate good organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a keen understanding of maintenance planning and operations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in maintenance coordination, be familiar with health and safety regulations, and be able to ensure efficient utilization of maintenance resources.
Coordinating maintenance worker efforts to ensure efficient and effective upkeep of properties and systems.
Implementing strategies for preventive and predictive maintenance.
Developing maintenance schedules and enforcing them among maintenance staff. To include preparing the weekly maintenance schedules and allocating work.
Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required.
Training of maintenance staff.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
Coordinating with outside vendors and contractors as necessary.
Experience in planning maintenance operations.
Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position requires a combination of office work and field work.
Occasional travel may be required for site visits or meetings.
Reports to the Facility Manager.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of prior work experience in coordinating maintenance within manufacturing, assembly and/or construction/facilities occupations.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
