Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and experienced System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Servers, and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades with a strong technical background and the ability to adapt to various challenges. This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who is committed to helping MET Florida achieve its ambitious goals. This role will mostly be onsite and the environment can change with different clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Servers, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and related technologies.
- Develop, deploy, and manage SharePoint solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with the in-house development team on Microsoft application projects, contributing to the development of customized solutions.
- Assist with IT billing and vendor support, ensuring seamless integration and management of third-party services.
- Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, from initial assessment through to completion.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Servers, and SharePoint.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and a solid understanding of cloud architecture and services.
- Proficiency in managing and administering SharePoint, including configuration, customization, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate) are a plus.
