Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to children with special needs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions regarding treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and consistent implementation of interventions
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other team members on behavior management techniques and strategies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education
Skills:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Proficient in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling
