The Analyst Development Program is part of an early career talent initiative, in which Analyst Trainees receive hands-on experiential learning through structured developmental rotations within the Operations division. The program is intended to foster career advancement within 12-24 months. The next upcoming cohort of Analyst Trainees will begin their career journey with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in February 2025.
- Develop strategic problem-solving, quantitative analytics, and communication skills through use of information, data, analytics, ingenuity, and empathy in innovative ways to deliver technology-driven solutions.
- Effectively support projects and teams to produce desired results.
- Develop and improve departmental workflows, business processes, and standard policies for routine services.
- Produce routine and non-routine reports, presentations, letters, communications, and graphics.
- Foster problem resolution capabilities. Scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts, and monitor the success of new initiatives.
- Interface with both internal and external areas to resolve problems and capture business requirements.
- Provide support with design, development, modification, testing, implementation, and maintenance of assigned systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
- One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
- Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
- Ability to make decisions within the scope of responsibility where operational guidelines/procedures are non-existent.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- General understanding of project management and/or Agile delivery process.
