SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Program Security Representative.
Responsibilities:
SPA is seeking a Program Security Representative (PSR) to support the Government Customer, a DoD rapid prototyping organization, by providing security support to Program Managers and Portfolio Lead in a Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) Security capacity for major protection system acquisitions. This program supports full lifecycle acquisition across all mission domains of complex national systems architectures.
Key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide security support by implementing sound Operations Security (OPSEC) practices, developing Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for program protection, and performing program risk analysis for end-to-end closure of the baseline for protection-related activities in the overall Enterprise.
- Collaborate internally and across stakeholder organizations to protect complex systems and state-of-the-art capabilities, ensuring program protection is implemented and managed throughout the lifecycle of the program.
- Interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and mission partner security groups is imperative for system integration.
- Interact with several government and industry security representatives and stakeholders, as well as multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and government and contractor stakeholders to drive security requirements for complex technical challenges.
- Support the Portfolio Lead and Program Manager with strategic planning for future capability acquisition and insertion into the enterprise baseline.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Active TS/SCI; mut be willing to sit for and pass a CI Poly
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience
- A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Good oral and written communication skills; MS Office proficient
- Good business acumen; ability to relate professionally inside the work environment
- Organized and flexible
- Ability to manage security for multiple programs across differing levels of classification
- Experience navigating security databases/systems of record
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Special Access Program (SAP) security and Program Access Request (PAR) processes
- Knowledge of OPSEC practices and implementation
- Experience with protecting large acquisition efforts, methods, and processes
- Practical experience working Department of Defense (DoD) Contract Security Classification Specifications
- Ability to author new security guidance and interpret existing guidance
