The Sr. Director, Inventory Replenishment, Merchandising, and Marketing is a member of the senior leadership team responsible for leading the marketing, merchandising and Inventory Replenishment functions of the organization. This role will manage a dynamic team of procurement professionals, merchandising product managers and creative services personnel to develop creative strategies and support continued growth.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead marketing, merchandising and inventory replenishment programs nationally. Assess department structure and build to accommodate the needs of a growing business.
- Develop a creative direction and strategies to drive sales. Also ensure the translation of those strategies to the successful execution of marketing plans to achieve sales and inventory goals.
- Execute on key seasonal events, counter attack strategies, collateral, pricing and promotion strategies.
- Coordinate with Sales & Operations leaders to understand the needed tools to execute marketing plans.
- Recognize and surface competitive trends to target key industry and local market opportunities.
- Ensure the marketing team pursues innovative approaches to product selection, promotional strategies and pricing strategies.
- Identify and manage procurement risks to minimize negative impacts on organizational objectives while encouraging opportunity.
- Establish performance standards and evaluation processes to assess and report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, customer satisfaction, value and cost.
- Budget management for categories under management and for procurement itself.
- Ensure the merchandising team proactively identifies new potential vendor relationships, maintains existing vendor relations, successfully negotiates profitable contracts, and holds vendors accountable to agreed service levels.
- Utilize financial reporting to understand specific levers that influence the P&L and ensure long-term financial goals are met.
- Manage the skills and competency development of staff, including training and development and knowledge management capabilities.
- Ensures alignment with Lowe’s merchandising and marketing strategies and executes opportunities to bring Lowe’s capabilities to MSH customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred but not required
- 8 to 10 years of merchandising experience, wholesale distribution preferred
- 5 to 7 years P&L management and accountability for increasing revenue and driving profitability
- 5 years Experience with leading a team with an emphasis on development, accountability, and delivering business results
- Ability to travel frequently to manage staff at other locations and attend marketing functions, 15% travel requirement

Pay Range: $151,200.00 - $252,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
