Responsibilities:
bcore seeks a Capture Manager to support growth within the federal market. The Capture Manager will perform all steps relevant to capture, to include the creation and execution of a capture plan, opportunity vetting, team building (as prime or sub), relationship building with the government sponsor, collection of relevant business/competitive intelligence, leadership of pre-final RFP gate and color team reviews, solutioning (technical, management, and price-to-win), and working alongside the proposal manager and volume leads to ensure the capture plan, win themes, etc. propagate through the final proposal.
The Capture Manager will be expected to juggle multiple concurrent captures, be they large and small in value, prime or sub. We also expect the Capture Manager to support the development of whitepapers and to work closely with our Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Data Scientist, Chief Analytics Officer, and P&L Leads to relay ground-truth relevant to execution, and whitepaper and R&D opportunities/development.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- At least ten years experience supporting the IC and/or DoD
- At least five years technical (e.g., systems integrator, analyst, developer, scientist) experience supporting the IC and/or DoD
- At least five years performing capture and/or proposal within the IC and/or DoD
- Demonstrable experience with the federal capture process
- Experience writing technical and management volumes
- Experience writing whitepapers
- Experience briefing senior executives within the government and uniformed officers across at least two military services
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing federal contracts / book of business
