Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Subcontracts Management Staff – Affordability and Second Source lead located in Orlando, FL.
What You Will Be Doing
The Lockheed Martin Air Dominance team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem solver to add to our Subcontract Management team! This role will act as the Affordability Lead for Global Supply Chain team and the liaison between Supply Chain and Program Functional Leadership regarding cost reduction initiatives. Responsibilities will include:
Coordinating with the Global Supply Chain subcontract managers to develop, implement, and realize cost reduction initiatives across the supply base.
- Acting as the Second Source lead for the team, coordinating next steps for all alternate/second supplier opportunities.
- Pitching at weekly & monthly executive leadership reviews regarding status of Affordability initiatives.
- Identifying measurable Affordability goals for the Supply Chain team in 2025.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline at the Bachelor level or above
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
- Considered an emerging authority and self-starter
- Experience with affordability initiatives and management of those initiatives
- Experience with reading and understanding technical documents
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work cross functionally with team members
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in Subcontract Management
- Experience supporting Executive Leadership level reviews and discussions
- Knowledge of FARS/DFARS flowdowns
- Experience interfacing with the U.S Government (USG) or other customers
- Experience with Risk Management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
