Job Description
Visa’s Global Authentication & Identity product team is responsible for building solutions to help our clients detect and prevent fraud for e-commerce payments. Device intelligence is a critical component for many of our authentication solutions.
The product manager will play a critical role in developing Visa’s common device intelligence capabilities. The product manager will help define the overall strategy for device capabilities and work directly with engineering, and other Visa product teams (internal clients) to define requirements for the solution. The candidate should be able to quickly come up to speed on the technical aspects of device intelligence and Visa’s authentication solution set and think critically and strategically about how they should be integrated. The product manager will need to influence stakeholders to execute their product strategy. The product manager will be responsible for developing the product strategy, business cases, revenue/expense forecasts, roadmap, and contribute to development of technical documentation, operational processes, and partner/client legal agreements. This role requires a variety of skillsets across strategy, product management, product development, data science, delivery, and operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage product strategy and roadmap for Visa’s device intelligence platform
Understand the ecosystem landscape (including device intelligence solution providers), competitors, and emerging technologies that impact your product
Work with stakeholders/clients across various product teams and functions to define requirements and prioritize features
Manage and coordinate development and integration with engineering teams and external partners/vendors
Collaborate with fellow product managers to develop business cases and revenue/expense forecasts for the product, including build, buy, partner analyses
Work with data science teams to incorporate device data into risk models and identity graphs
Define and automate the operational processes needed to support the product (e.g. client onboarding, billing/reporting).
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Previous experience in a platform product management, software engineering, or systems engineering role
- Previous experience working on device intelligence platforms (device fingerprinting, device risk signals, behavioral analytics/biometrics) or fraud and risk platform products
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical field such as computer science, software engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, information systems, or data science
- Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex workstreams and processes with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated interest in Payments, FinTech, and/or Authentication & Digital Identity
- Problem solver, detail-oriented, self-starter, and analytical thinker
- Able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 191,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
