What will I be doing?
As Senior Catering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing market segments, soliciting new customer relationships, and negotiating contracts to secure business. You will creatively design menus and events to maximize revenue while delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position primarily focuses on managing complex social events.
You will also maintain strong relationships with corporate and social accounts, ensuring high-level service through all phases of the event lifecycle, including contracting, pre-event planning, event execution, and post-event follow-up. Additionally, you will oversee event logistics, directing affected departments and team members for seamless execution. In the absence of the Director of Sales, you may provide support and act on their behalf.
Specifically, your essential functions will include:
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties by developing strategic plans and goals.
- Communicating promptly and effectively with internal and external clients via phone, email, and in person.
- Creating and maintaining strong client relationships to meet and exceed expectations.
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of job systems, products, and processes.
- Resolving conflicts and negotiating effectively while handling complaints and disputes.
- Selling and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Making decisions and solving problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions.
- Ensuring high-quality service by guiding, coaching, and providing feedback to team members.
- Participating in client site inspections and supporting the sales process as necessary.
- Performing other duties as required to meet business needs.

What are we looking for?
- Minimum Years of Experience: two (2) years Hospitality related experience at manager level.
- Experience in supervision or management of 1-3 people.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc)
- Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution (CMP, CPCE)
