We are currently seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our commercial projects team. You will be working on commercial and construction projects in numerous locations across Houston.
Responsibilities
- Management and supervision of craft workers and subcontractors performing commercial electrical scopes of work.
- Primary onsite point of contact for general contractor representatives.
- Coordinate timing and performance of electrical scope of work with other trades.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Conduct safety meetings and safety logs maintaining a safe working environment.
- Emphasize the importance of safe work practices and hold crew accountable to company and client safety standards.
- Oversee required inspections with local jurisdictions.
- Coordinate logistics and storage of material and fixture components.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
- Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions.
Qualifications:
Valid State Journeyman TDLR Electrical license
Preferably 5 years of Commercial experience in the Service field
Valid Driver License
Clean Criminal Background and Driving Record
Pass an alcohol and drug screen
Must be able to handle a physical workload
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift/Night shift
- Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
