Tableau Server Administrator
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator with to join our team, providing data analytics support to the Air Force. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Tableau Server environment, ensuring its optimal performance and availability. You’ll use your hands-on experience in Tableau Server administration, troubleshooting, and working with server monitoring and backup tools, while also collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of Tableau dashboards.

You Have:
2+ years of experience as a Tableau Server Administrator
Experience with SQL and relational databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, to troubleshoot data-related issues
Experience in server backup and recovery procedures
Experience administering groups, workbooks, projects, permissions, and schedules for effective data management and user access controls
Knowledge of Tableau Server installation, configuration, and administration
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Batch
Knowledge of security measures, authentication methods, and firewall configurations
Ability to guide and mentor junior administrators, work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Information Technology field
Nice If You Have:
Experience utilizing Tableau’s REST APIs for automation
Knowledge of batch scripting for automating administrative tasks
Tableau Certified Server Associate Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
