Security Consultant
Key Role:
Serve as part of the Booz Allen corporate security division’s security shared service center and administer support for government security policies and procedures related to the suitability, fitness, and public trust personnel security program. Process packages for public trust determination submittals along with other security-related onboarding and offboarding activities. Act as an intermediary with the security offices of various departments and agencies across a variety of contracts, review documentation for accuracy and completeness, and address personnel security matters with employees. Support the integration of additional departments and agencies into the suitability program of the service center. Act as a team player, exhibit flexibility, manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment, and multitask and adapt to multiple different agency security processes and requirements. Work within a team environment, meet deadlines, handle assigned tasks individually, and perform additional security duties, as assigned. Support making decisions, including analyzing problems and assisting with developing focused solutions such as communicating information to various audiences using verbal and written communication mediums, and interacting with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with personnel security
Knowledge of suitability, fitness, and public trust processes and requirements
Ability to multitask and work within varied agency security processes
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with NBIS, DISS, SWFT, and e-QIP/eApp
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent customer service and organization skills
Bachelor's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
