SUMMARY
This position contributes to operations strategies and initiatives through execution of the training system, and coaching that drives retention, safety, employee engagement and a continuous improvement culture.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver and sustain training initiatives and programs that drive retention, employee engagement and business performance. Use a variety of mediums: hands on training, classroom, on the job, e-learning, and virtual.
- Support talent pipeline and leadership development programs with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Coordinate and track annual training plans for plant associates to include safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Train and develop training team leads and line trainers.
- Develop and report on measurements related to onboarding, retention and development.
- Collaborate with VS leaders in the creation and reporting of metrics that show business impact
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Knowledge and experience with lean, safety and quality manufacturing concepts, processes and workforce training methods.
- Associates degree (or equivalent education and/or experience) in manufacturing, training, lean, continuous improvement, industrial safety, HR, or instructional design.
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing, logistics or industrial experience, including 2 with training or coaching responsibilities
- Understanding of adult learning, on the job training, and instructional design techniques.
- A customer-centric approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills - specifically verbal communications.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
