We are looking for a talented (Student) Business Analytics - School to Work - Hybrid to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Data Management : Utilizing your basic understanding of SQL, you’ll effectively query and manage data, ensuring accurate and accessible information for analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Proficiency in Python or R : Develop your skills in Python or R for basic data analysis tasks and statistical modeling. These programming languages are essential for handling and analyzing data efficiently.
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools : Gain hands-on practice with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Creating basic dashboards and reports will help you present data insights clearly and effectively.
- Strong Communication Skills : Improve your ability to present findings, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Clear communication is key to ensuring your insights are understood and actionable.
- Data Storytelling : Cultivate your interest in data visualization and storytelling. Being able to tell a compelling story through data will make your analyses more impactful and engaging.
- Attention to Detail : Pay close attention to detail when analyzing data and creating visualizations. Accuracy is crucial for reliable insights and decision-making.

Education/Experience:
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Senior or Graduate level).
