SPA's Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division’s Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy’s Team SUBS office.

Responsibilities:
SPA is seeking a dedicated junior or mid-level analyst with an active DoD Secret clearance to provide T&E Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the US Navy. Responsibilities include assisting the PEO IWS client with T&E planning, execution, analysis, and reporting as well as supporting the portfolio lifecycle through test, integration, and delivery of hardware/software. For this critical work, we are looking for an experienced analyst to prepare and/or review technical and programmatic T&E documentation (e.g. T&E planning and strategies, T&E Master Plans, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, Trouble Reports, Requirements Traceability Matrixes, Technical Review Plans and Summary Reports), develop formal correspondence and work with DoD field activities, Integrated Product Teams, Technical Teams, and various vendors to develop, identify, locate, support, acquire, and manage requirements. Must be energetic, thoughtful, product-oriented, dependable, flexible, open-minded individual with an eagerness to learn with demonstrated strong work ethic.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $80,000 – $115,000.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Operational and technical knowledge of US Navy ship systems and programs, including Navy Aegis experience
- Familiarity with DoD Acquisition process or experience working in an acquisition program office environment with documentation, protocols, formats and deadlines
