As the Associate Manager of Component Final Finishes (CFF), you will be responsible for overseeing the overall production performance of coated parts that support the F-35 build teams.
This role requires leading the integration of complex schedules, coatings processes, and supporting functional organizations to meet production requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGLeadership and Management:
• Lead and oversee Supervisors, Technical Leads, and manufacturing activities, including facilities and capital planning, tool utilization, manufacturing plans, workflows, and crew loading.
• Assign work priorities to manufacturing planning, manufacturing engineers, industrial engineers, quality engineers, production control, and inspection teams.
• Manage direct, indirect, and allocated Business Unit Budgets.
Production and Performance Management:
• Utilize earned value management tools to manage and track production task execution.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of aircraft records.
• Drive the overall strategy and execution of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with budget and schedule targets.
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineering to provide technical guidance to employees and optimize staffing, line analysis, and planning.
Quality and Compliance:
• Verify that products meet all requirements through rigorous inspections and tests. Ensure that tooling, workplace layouts, and staffing are aligned with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Identify and implement changes to improve quality, schedule, and cost efficiency.
• Reinforce a culture that values and prioritizes Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
• Ensure certification of employees performing tasks that require certification.
Safety and Work Environment:
• Provide and maintain a safe work environment, taking timely corrective action to address unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company and F-35 program policies and procedures.
• Assure adherence to defined Core processes, submitting changes or exceptions for program-specific processes.
Employee Coordination and Development:
• Coordinate employee recruitment, training, performance management, work assignments, and other HR-related functions.
• Conduct yearly performance assessments and reviews for salaried employees.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
