The Team You Will Join
MetLife’s Global Brand and Marketing team is an integral part of the company’s customer-centric and data-driven growth engine. Through acquisition, engagement and retention, across paid, owned and earned channels, our teams take an agile, experimentation-driven approach to helping our customers live more confident futures. If you're driven by a desire to make a real impact on customer experience and deeply care about all of our stakeholders, we want you on our team!
The Opportunity
As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will design the experiences used every day by our customers. You will be part of a product team responsible for delivering experiences that meet or exceed user needs and business goals. You will also be a key member of a design team that includes other designers, content strategists and copywriters, collaborating with user researchers, business partners and our technical teams to deliver great, scalable experiences.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate experience designing compelling transactions, but also someone who understands how to work collaboratively, devising and designing solutions from end-to-end; not stopping at the requirements provided, but pushing where necessary to understand what our customers truly need. You will participate in all parts of the design process as a member of a multi-disciplinary team – contributing to customer research, product strategy, ideation, visual design, prototyping, working with engineering to make sure interactions are built as designed, and iterating based on customer and stakeholder feedback.
Our ideal candidate will have strong creative and problem-solving skills and experience creating world class designs in a high-volume transactional setting. Technical skills are a plus. We expect you to have experience applying brand standards to increase clarity, communicate hierarchy and create emotion in addition to producing clear, simple interactions that inspire confidence and loyalty.
