Position Role Type:

- Setup and operate drill presses or small lathes.
- Use a variety of handheld and stationary tools and equipment to perform cleaning, lapping, deburring, blending, and polishing operations.
- Use a variety of fixed or handheld gages or measuring instruments to check fits, alignments, clearances, or other specific requirements.
- Grasp and manipulate small parts that require normal dexterity
How to use decimals and fractions and complete basic machine shop related mathematical calculations
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
- 2+ years’ work experience in a mechanical field
- 2+ years specialized training in maintenance, assembly or test of gas turbine engines or similar aircraft systems.
- Prior experience working on Turbofan engines.
- Knowledge of aircraft engine assembly procedures including fits and tolerances, use of precision measuring instruments and gauges, hand tools, special assembly equipment and the ability to work from complicated drawings and specifications.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
