Comfort Control Systems is based in North Royalton, Ohio. We provide service and installation of HVAC equipment for commercial/industrial properties throughout northern Ohio. We are looking for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician and Installer to join our team.
JOB DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-The HVAC Technician will be responsible for various maintenance tasks that will include performing installation of parts and equipment, troubleshoot and startup on a variety of heating and cooling equipment.
-The technician should be able to keep an organized workspace on the job site, have the ability to service equipment, locate and repair refrigerant leaks, determine the cause/repair of HVAC related equipment failure.
-The technician should be able to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Understand wiring diagrams, piping schemes and engineering specifications to install complete operational systems.
-Maintain tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.
-Determine parts to order for installation and service
-The technician must be able to fill out service tickets after each job, and be a problem solver.
-Technician should have experience installing high and low voltage wiring and be proficient in piping work, brazing and threading.
-Technician must have a valid drivers license and pass a background check
-5 Years Experience as a field technician / HVAC technician and or Installer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Load and unload parts and HVAC equipment ie: tools, refrigerant, ladders and equipment to and from vehicle to jobsite.
