Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tower Crew to join our company. We do tower work for AT&T as well as TMobile, we need a proficient crew that can build both. If you are an established crew and have your own; truck/trailer, gear, etc. we'd like to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and connectivity in various telecommunications projects. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and field service experience, particularly in high and low voltage environments. The Telecommunicator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunication systems while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunication systems including cabling and equipment.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters to test and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate bucket trucks for aerial installations and repairs.
- Climb structures as needed to access equipment for installation or maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer needs promptly.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in telecommunications or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in cabling techniques and the use of voltmeters.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems; low voltage experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate rigging equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Willingness to climb heights and work from bucket trucks as required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
