Description
Analyst to work in a requirements formulation group for future IC overhead collection systems and their associated ground systems (GEOINT, SIGINT, etc.) for a national-level client. This analyst will work closely with USG Agency leads on the review and assessment of top-level requirements that will inform and impact policy and resource decisions at the most senior levels of the USG. Analyst will focus on select high-impact cross-community issues and organizational trades of high national interest. The successful applicant will also have an opportunity to influence requirements policy, practice, and directives currently undergoing transformation to more effectively govern the requirements processes of the entire IC enterprise.
Required Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have experience or familiarity with the following disciplines:
- system and architecture-level system engineering
- requirements formulation, prioritization, flow-down, traceability, change control, and documentation
- IC and DOD policy, practice, requirements forums and authorities
- IC and DOD cost, budget and acquisition models
- Knowledge of requirements and systems engineering methodologies is essential.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Experience with community-wide collaboration and adjudication of products through integrated teams and working groups is desirable.
- Experience with formalization of organizational policy and practice is desirable.
- Competence with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Although this position is within the IC and is governed by the IC Capability Requirements Process as described in ICD 115, knowledge and experience with the DoD JCIDS process is relevant and applicable.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in STEM field required
Required Clearance: TS/SCI w/poly is required
