You will join our Mainframe & Midrange Services (MMS) team that supports the Foundational Hosting Platform organization within CTO. You will leverage your Mainframe knowledge, System knowledge, and understanding of mainframe infrastructure in this role while collaborating with colleagues and managers to resolve issues and make an impact at Wells Fargo.
In this role, you will:
- Support initiatives that deliver workable end to end infrastructure solutions
- Participate in test planning and execution
- Communicate with end users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates
- Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio
- Troubleshoot and resolve tickets during implementation of hardware systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve first level hardware issues
- Present recommendations for resolving ticket requests, and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process, policies and risk controls
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with z/OS mainframe system software environment in any form.
- 2+ years of experience, knowledge, and understanding of other mainframe third party products such as Brocade, BMC, Broadcom mainframe tools, etc.
- Experience with tracking, monitoring, and implementing corrective actions or information security exceptions for Operational Risk or a combination of both
- Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings
Job Expectations:
- Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
- 100% Remote work location is available for this position

Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$30.58 - $54.33
