ADVANCED AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT SETUP OPERATOR:
Operate, setup and troubleshoot sheet metal fabrication equipment including stamping presses with automated transfer systems, CNC turrets, Laser cutters and automated bending cells.
Principle duties:
- Perform all tasks required to operate, setup and maintain equipment to produce parts in compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot setup related issues which may require frequent adjustments of settings, system parameters, etc.
- Read, understand and follow work instructions. Perform die changeovers.
- Work with support departments to resolve issues resulting in production delays.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Complete all required and assigned paperwork.
- Perform housekeeping duties and comply with all quality checks to include first and last part inspection.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Higher level machining background that has worked with tools, dye, HAAS or CNC machines preferably
- 1-2 years of machine operating experience
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
