As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring products are properly displayed and replenished as needed.
- Assist in inventory management, including conducting stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Communicate promotions and special offers to customers, encouraging participation in store events.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently and effectively to potential customers.
- A proactive approach to upselling and cross-selling products based on customer needs.
- Attention to detail in maintaining stock levels and presentation standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
