Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and approach them in a friendly and professional manner.
Actively listen to customers to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Metro by T-Mobile products, plans, and promotions.
Assist customers in selecting mobile devices, accessories, and service plans based on their preferences and requirements.
Educate customers on device features, capabilities, and setup processes.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Sales and Upselling :Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.
Use effective sales techniques to promote products and services, including cross-selling and upselling.
Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and industry trends to provide up-to-date information to customers.
Proactively engage customers in conversations to identify potential sales opportunities.
Customer Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers for mobile devices and services.
Assist customers with device setup, including transferring contacts, apps, and data.
Address and resolve customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with the store management team to escalate complex customer issues as needed.
Store Operations: Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment.
Assist in inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise.
Ensure pricing and product displays are accurate and attractive.
Follow store policies and procedures, including cash handling and opening/closing duties.
Keep abreast of competitive offerings and industry trends to provide insights and suggestions for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.
- Proven customer service experience with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong product knowledge and technical aptitude related to mobile devices, plans, and accessories.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and product offerings.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
