DESCRIPTION
Lead efforts within materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment to develop a cost-effective supply chain. Ensure key stakeholder requirements and expectations are met from end to end in each of the supply chains. Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient Supply Chain. Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Operating Systems and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common processes tools, and information systems. Manage Execution by coordinating performance across regions, teams, and departments on complex supply chain projects, and define planning and review practices that result in few missed milestones and minimal surprises. Support Corporate Supply Chain initiatives and lead the cross-Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment. Mitigate long term supplier constraints by managing collaboration with functional stakeholders. Analyze operational trends, identify issues, and develop corrective action plans using Data Management tools, publishing results for cross-business utilization. Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships. Develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Oracle Business Intelligence Software (OBIEE). Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability. Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense resources, and capital. Critically identify an issue’s scope and parameters while analyzing from multiple perspectives, and determine and analyze root causes and implications of issues. Integrate information and define an array of alternatives to plan and measure progress and achieve best practices by applying a variety of analytical tools and processes including Six Sigma. Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets through use of Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques, including presenting conclusions and recommending actions to management or other teams and process owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering Management, or related field and 3 years of experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Chain or Sourcing Analyst or Planner, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering Management, or related field and 5 years of experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer, Supply Chain or Sourcing Analyst or Planner, or related position. Experience to include: Supply Chain Management; Manage Execution; Data Management tools; Supply chain processes and procedures; Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Oracle Business Intelligence Software (OBIEE); Annual operating plan; Root cause analysis and implication of issues; Integrate information, plan and measure progress applying Six Sigma tools and processes; Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques.
