Mutual Fund Operations falls under the Asset Management Operations umbrella. This organization maintains 650+ Mutual Fund Family relationships with daily trading volumes that exceed $1 Billion. Our goal: To be the most admired and respected trading and operations group within the industry.
We are Lloking to hire a Specialist, Mutual Fund Operations. This is an entry to mid-Level position for the Mutual Fund Operations Trading Team. Team is based on a functional model with its main focus being Mutual Fund Trading. Applicants must be able and willing to rotate work assignments and shifts as required by this functional model. Specialists are responsible for functions related to Mutual Funds Trade processing. These responsibilities include and are not limited to tasks such as: Mutual Fund Trade Order Entry and Placement. Mutual Fund Trade Order Verification and Cash Settlement. Due to the associated financial risk within these responsibilities, attention to detail and accuracy are basic expectations of the job. Contact with internal and external business partners occurs daily, therefore strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Associates are also required to adhere to and support a flexible schedule driven mainly by business needs and requirements. Also welcome are individuals that have the potential not only be an active team player, but also the qualities & interest in a leadership or a management career path.

Required Qualifications
- Basic desktop computer skills, including Windows/XP and Excel. Ability to learn in-house department applications & programs, word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Basic problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others in a fast-paced team environment.
- Consistently support and help team members and the enterprise meet our goals and service level agreements
- Quick learner and a self-starter that demonstrates initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of the Mutual Fund Industry is preferred
- Working knowledge of departmental functions, systems, policies, and relevant regulations preferred
- Series 7 & 63 preferred
