The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: The pay range for this role is $23.00-$25.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
What will I be doing?
As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to department managers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide first-line support for employee inquiries, assisting with issue resolution and escalating complex matters to HR leadership as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for the Human Resources leadership team, ensuring efficient time management and preparation.
- Maintain organized department and personnel files for team members across the property, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with Hilton standards.
- Monitor and manage office supply inventory, placing orders promptly to ensure the office is well-stocked at all times.
- Perform a range of administrative tasks, including word processing, translating, data entry, email management, filing, faxing, copying, mail processing, and taking notes or dictation as required.
- Assist employees with benefit and payroll inquiries, ensuring quick and accurate responses.
- Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication with a diverse workforce.
