Overview:
The National Account Representative is responsible for developing sales opportunities with new customers and generating new and ongoing sales with existing clients.
Requirements:
- Develop new opportunities with potential clients using various methods primarily including cold calling (90%) and attending trade shows (10%)
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships ensuring open stream of communication
- Manage multiple sales projects concurrently while maintaining a command of details, timelines, and next steps
- Effectively use Salesforce/CRM system
- Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests
- Effectively utilizing internal and external resources to create and present solutions to prospects and clients
- Manage and adapt to changing client needs and expectations
- Communicate frequently with internal Project Managers for status updates and problem solving as needed.
- Assist in production of a proactive action plan that helps to increase Identiti’s brand image and meets our client’s needs and expectations.
- Ensure new and existing client accounts run smoothly and efficiently
- Develop monthly expense reports and quarterly reports
- Attend regular meetings with management and staff to discuss sales updates
- Create presentations for new client meetings when needed
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed for client(s).
- Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively over the phone
- Extensive knowledge of cold calling techniques
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Must maintain a high sense of urgency and work well under stress
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining and growing current business along with acquiring new business opportunities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to analyze information to draw conclusions
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and be a critical thinker
- Must have the ability to make sound judgments
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems with customer orders
- Ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing so others will understand
