We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff to create a high-performing team.
- Manage daily store operations, including inventory management and merchandising standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee cash register operations, ensuring accurate transactions and adherence to cash handling procedures.
- Implement shift management practices to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and maintain operational efficiency.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and contribute to inventory planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on promotional activities and visual merchandising strategies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and POS systems.
- Basic math skills for retail calculations and inventory management.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
