Job Description
This is a Leadership role on the global Corporate FP&A team. This role manages the reporting and analysis of business drivers and provides insights. The Director works closely with other Finance and Business teams to ensure alignment and achieve synergy of opportunities and objectives.
The position requires excellent organization and leadership skills, business and systems analysis, critical thinking, and have strong communication and collaboration skills. Must also be self-directed, able to multi-task, disciplined, and adaptable to and influence change.
Essential Functions
- Lead the quantitative analysis of Visa’s key business drivers for global reporting and provide business insights.
- Lead the production of key business driver reports (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) detailing the performance for Visa Inc. and its 28 geographies.
- Key customers include Visa Inc. executives and senior management.
- This position will work closely to support activities in the Corporate FP&A, Investor Relations, External Reporting, Finance Operations, and the Product and Sales groups.
- Design, build and maintain various reporting models navigating large amounts of data using finance systems (i.e. TM1, Tableau) to present in a logical and efficient manner.
- Collaborate and proactively partner with global reporting teams addressing and resolving business questions and/or reporting issues and ensure accurate reporting.
- Lead system enhancements and collaborate with finance system team and IT to document and implement requirements to support new and/or changing metrics across multiple finance systems (i.e. TM1, Tableau) and ensure accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional finance organization.
- Support strategy to driver curiosity and improve efficiency.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, engineering, accounting, economics, or related quantitative field or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output.
- Team player, ability to effectively interact with the other team members and managers.
- Superior technical, quantitative and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Expert PC skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
- Experience with TM1 and Tableau reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively including excellent written, oral, and presentational skills with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 161,500.00 to 234,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
