Job Title: Shipping Supervisor
Reports to: Material Movement Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt
Pay : $23-27/hr
Schedule/Hours:
This is an In-Person Full Time Position consisting of 5 8-hour day shifts with periodic weekend work. The position is expected to work weekly from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm to achieve a total of 40 work hours.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Supervisor position who also actively performing tasks and duties that are typically associated with their team or department
- Responsible for all aspects of forklift operation to load and unload material from trucks within the warehouse facility
- Utilizes the traffic schedule with the production schedule to determine priorities and work assignments
- Maintains accurate inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials/supplies in stock
- Records inventory locations both manually and electronically
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and docks clean
- Completes and maintains all necessary paperwork to ensure traceability
- Uphold all PRI policies and procedures.
- Responsible for safety as it pertains to daily tasks: PPE, etc.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
- Must be flexible to cross-train for transportation dispatch
- Train and supervise the activities of workers loading, unloading, and storage of materials.
- Minimize waste and overtime costs.

- Adherence to health and safety regulations (utilize PPE, follow safety procedures, etc.)
- Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to be analytical; use logical reasoning to efficiently make decisions and solve issues
- Competent English speaking, writing, and reading skills
- Competent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to complete written reports legibly and accurately
- Ability to utilize RF scanners, computers, and tablets to track material
- Competent data analysis and data entry skills
- Strong time management skills (adhere to scheduling, arrive on time, etc.)

- Strong interpersonal skills
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Leadership Role: 5+ years experience (Required)
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; reach for tools with hands and arms; kneel or crouch; and talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. The employee must be able to see up close and at a distance as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception to be able to find, read, and complete necessary documentation as well as operate a forklift. Employees must have the ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, moisture, and dirty environments.
