We are looking for a talented Labor Relations Manager to join our team .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Administer and Implement Labor Relations Programs : By managing the organization’s labor relations programs, policies, and procedures, you’ll ensure smooth operations and compliance with labor laws.
- Resolve Conflicts and Grievances : Handling conflicts and the grievance process, preparing for arbitration, and interpreting labor contracts will help maintain a harmonious workplace.
- Investigate Labor Issues : Managing investigations of unfair labor practices and other labor relations issues will protect the organization from legal risks and ensure fair treatment of employees.
- Support Collective Bargaining : Participating in the collective bargaining negotiation preparation process, including terms and cost analysis, and working with legal counsel will help secure favorable agreements.
- Mediate and Prepare for Arbitration : Mediating workplace conflicts and preparing disciplinary actions, grievances, and arbitration will ensure fair and effective resolution of disputes.
- Stay Informed on Employment Legislation : Maintaining an understanding of local and national employment legislation and coaching management on these matters will keep the organization compliant and up-to-date.
- Align with Business Strategies : Understanding business strategies and initiatives, such as safety, security, and productivity, will enable you to act as a valuable resource for management and HR regarding labor relations.
- Lead and Develop Your Team : Managing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports, assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs, and providing performance feedback will foster a strong and capable team.

- Labor Relations - Practices employee relations at sites where employees are represented by third parties; applies knowledge of labor law; negotiates, interprets and implements the language of collectively bargained agreements.
- Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Significant relevant work experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have the power of influence to persuade to accept decisions which are made by corporate office.
- Must be able to develop good working relationships with unions.
