This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
The Provider Data Specialist is responsible for various activities focused on provider data quality for Optum Behavioral Health – Provider Operations. This position is critical to improving and maintaining data integrity through direct remediation of provider data in multiple systems as result of multiple recurring data quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of customer response / customer service experience
- 1+ years of data entry experience
- 1+ years of Microsoft Excel experience (ability to filter, sort, create and edit spreadsheets)
- Ability to type 50 WPM
Preferred Qualifications
- OHBS Facets experience
- NDB experience
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry

- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
