The primary purpose of the Market Data Analyst Advisor is to work closely with senior leadership, sales, and marketing to inform strategic decision-making, including insights into markets, customers and competitors. The role is responsible for analyzing statistical data to support various marketing efforts. The Advisor will have the primary day-to-day responsibility in the design, development, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting of complex marketing reports, data feeds, dashboards and scorecards.
Responsibilities:
- Use analytical skills to work on business issues requiring marketing analysis and translating business needs into actual analysis plans and insights and/or experimental designs to help drive growth
- Creating, maintaining, and analyzing market data using a variety of methods and techniques, such as trending, data visualization, and statistical methods to provide customer insight
- Utilize proven excellence in analytical working techniques, problem solving, research/quantitative analysis skills to solve business problems
- Examines sales and performance data, tracking results and other research to inform decision making processes
- Analyze customer segmentation and behavior data to inform targeting, personalization and retention efforts.
- Manages ad hoc project requests and reports findings to stakeholders
- May mentor department professionals when necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:
- BA/BS degree in relatable field
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, customer insights, marketing analysis, qualitative/quantitative research, or consulting
- Knowledge of marketing Research Methodologies (e.g. quantitative, qualitative, ethnography, etc.) and advanced analytic techniques (predictive and descriptive analysis, data mining, etc.)
- Knowledge of PC-based spreadsheets (Excel) and database warehousing applications
- Knowledge of SQL

- Detail-oriented and able to provide foundational learning to ensure understanding of marketplace dynamics
- Able to support dissemination of existing knowledge estate
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to Able to operate within a team environment
- Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills and to contribute to executive-level discourse; excellent written communication abilities

Salary: USD 117700.00 - USD 176500.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
