What you'll do...
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We are currently seeking 2nd shift Pharmacist to join our team at our Frederick, MD facility. This position requires onsite presence and does not offer remote work options. Candidates must be available to work a rotating schedule which will periodically include working Sundays and Saturdays. Candidate must be flexible to work outside rotation/shift with advance notice as needed for training and/or business operational needs.
Must be able to cover a 10 hour shift within a 3pm - 3am window.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy).
Must be a licensed pharmacist - Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice and willingness to gain and maintain additional pharmacist state licenses/permits/trainings to meet regulations and provide services.
Preference for a closed-door pharmacy setting. (no adjudications or direct patient contact).

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$150,000.00*
*This pay range is for a 40 hours/week schedule. Weekly scheduled hours are determined individually and the ranges for different scheduled hours are prorated based on the percentage of 40 hours. E.g., the range for a 36 hours/week schedule, which is 90% of 40 hours, is 90% of the above range.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
