Role Definition
Participates in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using appropriate and trending technologies.
Responsibilities
• Maintain the infrastructure of IT systems that support the business to function efficiently.
• Design solutions by assessing and aligning the current systems to best practices and comply to Caterpillar policies and procedures and IT general controls.
• Administrate servers and automated workflow tools; work with server virtualization technologies.
• Administer updates, upgrades, and other maintenance tasks in both hardware and software areas, to make the network more efficient, cost-effective, and secure.
Desired Skills
Preferred 5+ years of experience
Experience in the following areas:

Oracle database 19c and multi-tenant architecture

Data Guard setup and administration

Working in a Linux environment and shell scripting for automation

RMAN backup and configuration

Database performance tuning

RAC/ASM experience

Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager

Identifying and deploying Oracle security patches

Working in Amazon Web Services (migrating workloads, setting up automation, etc.)

Familiar with Oracle EBS 12.2 administration, architecture, support

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary for this role ranges from $98,520.00 - $157,632.00. Actual salary will be based on experience. Total rewards package, beyond base salary included:
