Under general direction, is responsible for performing professional-level work in banking services management in the Financial Management Division within the Finance Department. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment. Exercises no supervision.

- Manages the banking services provided to the City to include depository, lockbox, and merchant banking.
- Performs strategic financial analyses and planning that incorporates the financing needs of the City.
- Evaluates merchant banking, escrow agent, trustee, custodial, safekeeping, paying agent, depository services and other banking services that are available to accommodate specialty banking needs.
- Monitors the depository services contract by analyzing and reviewing services and the value and costs of services.
- Prepares Request for Proposals for the selection of depository and merchant banking services.
- Monitors equipment lease purchase agreements, trustee bank agreements and other agreements to ensure compliance.
- Coordinates lease purchase financing of capital equipment.
- Acts as a resource to and liaison between the Finance Department and various departments within COSA as well as external contacts.
- Acts as a backup in the event of leaves or special projects such as developing cash flow models and construction draw down schedules, structuring of financial models and forecasts, and performing cash flow analyses and designs for investment strategies accordingly.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years of experience in finance.
PreferredQualifications- Designation as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
- Three (3) years of experience with banking.
- Three (3) years of experience in customer service.
- Experience with Merchant Banking services.

- Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
